The instructor Staff at the academy consists of highly experienced security professionals, who all have several years of operating experience. The instructors come from different backgrounds with some of the world’s best military units, police or other relevant background from e.g. the diplomatic corps. They have all passed the bodyguard training and are specialists in their own field.
Besides the regular instructors there are also freelance instructors connected to the Academy. Most of the instructors are still working in the field when they do not teach at the Academy. This is a short presentation of some of the instructors working at the academy.
As a former Secret Service agent MBS has worked across the world protecting some of the worlds top leaders. MBS has also worked several years as DEA agent and an expect in covert operations. He is the only Firearms instructor in the US who is certified for both FBI, DEA & Secret Service. MBS is in charge of our counter narcotic training for government units.
More than 20 years of experience in combat training, operation planning, and tactical intelligence with the Danish Army. ADC has solid experience from a number of international missions and postings involving unit command, intelligence collection and analysis, and operation planning. Among other posts ADC has held the position of security advisor at embassy-level in a high risk environment.
Many years of experience as a special forces soldier whith deployments e.g. Africa and Iraq. He has worked in special intelligence and field security.
A Trained nurse with many years of experience in advanced first aid. He is trained as a close protection officer by the special forces and has been deployed worldwide several times including to the Middle East. He is the SIRAS primary Medic instructor. During particularly physically demanding exercises he will act as an observer and be responsible for the safety.
Has extensive international experience ranging from working as an emergency advisory in Asia to active service as a combat medic in Afghanistan. SBD has a military background with the Danish Army, and has amassed 10 years of experience working with first aid. SBD has recieved extended training in areas of expertise such as: Search and Rescue, Remote Area Treatment, Rescue Diving, PHTLS and TCCC. SBD is a certified and registered instructor under the European Resuscitation Council. SBD has a background in competitive shooting and is a highly qualified firearms instructor.
A former staff sergeant of the Danish Army with several deployments both as a soldier and a close protection officer. He is trained by the military police and special forces. WEF has recieved training in af wide range of close protection related specialties and is a SIRAS Tactical Training instructor.
Has many years of experience in the private security sector. He has trained close combat through a number of years both in and outside of Denmark. Like all our other instructors he is a well trained close protection operative. He is the primary instructor in SIRAS close combat.
Canadian Instructor specialized in Terrorism and Close Combat. MPL has practiced different martial art styles since the early 2000s including Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Kickboxing, Kenjutsu and many more and has trained with some of the best fighters in the world. He has more than 2.000 hours of private security training and has worked as bodyguard for high profile clients and governments. MPL has received training in the areas such as: High Risk Close Protection, Counter-Terrorism, Response to an Active Shooter and Designated Marksman with Canadians former Special Forces.
