At Siras Academy, we are currently looking for skilled and committed instructors for our close protection courses in Denmark and Spain. We do not only place emphasis on your operational experience, but also strongly value your ability to communicate, lead, and motivate trainees.


About the role

As an instructor, you will become part of an experienced and professional team of security specialists with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. What unites the team is a high professional standard and a passion for sharing knowledge and experience.

In this role, you will not only have the opportunity to apply your own competencies, but also continuously develop them through collaboration, feedback, and practical teaching. You will play an important role in training and shaping the next generation of professional security operators.

You will primarily teach within your own area of expertise, contributing with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. At the same time, you are expected to help ensure high-quality instruction and create a learning environment where trainees develop professionally, personally, and operationally.


Qualifications

We expect you to have solid experience within the field you wish to teach. If you are interested in taking on the role of instructor, we encourage you to apply. We will assess whether you meet the requirements we are looking for. The number of years of experience is not decisive; the quality and relevance of your experience are what matter.

Regardless of background, the following requirements must be met to be considered:

  • Minimum 25 years old
  • Operational experience
  • Good physical condition
  • Teaching experience
  • Fluent English

    Selection process:

    • You will receive questions forming the basis for a potential interview
    • Initial interview
    • Professional assessment
    • Final interview

    Career path:

    • Start as assistant instructor/observer
    • Instructor training alongside teaching
    • Instructor at the academy

Afterwards, there will be opportunities to advance to international instructor roles, teaching abroad on our civilian courses as well as closed programs for police and military units.
