FAMILY PROTECTION
We are really happy to announce the release of our new training course “Family Protection”.
Whether you are home or on vacation, alone or together with the family – there is risk. Sometimes the risk is from criminality but it can also be a simple road traffic accident.
The purpose of this course is to give you and your family some tools to be able to identify risk and thereby avoid being a victim. You will also learn what to do in the event of an emergency where you need eg. first aid.
You will learn many skills but also have a fun day together with the whole family.
New courses
We have opened for several new courses at the Academy. Among others are the Survival Training, Patrol Tactics and the one on one training courses. More info about the courses will be posted later.
We would like to invite you to our info meetings at the Academy. Here you can hear more about our courses, the job as a bodyguard and what options you have to get startet. You are more than welcome to bring friends or family as well.

Close protection
This weekend 8 students put in a great effort during the CP try out at the Academy. A fun day with lots of new exercises and information about the industry and training as a bodyguard. Some of the exercises was formations on foot, embus/debus, contact drills and take downs and VIP driving.
Several of the students have already booked a seat on the next CP course and we look forward to welcome back at the Academy!
SIA Approved Close Protection
Now you can get your SIA license at SIRAS Academy.
For many years the Academy and our training has been approved by several different governments incl. USA, Saudi Arabia, Kosovo, Denmark and other. Now our close protection training is also approved by the UK Government. This mean that you after completion of the close protection training course can apply for your SIA license.

Why a SIA licesce?
Since The Security Industry Act 2001, it is compulsory for all those who work in the security industry to undergo SIA Training and possess a current, valid SIA license. To get the SIA license, you need to take the right SIA course like the Close protection course at SIRAS Academy.
An SIA license allows the license holder to legally practice in the industry. Working without a valid SIA License is a criminal offence, which means you could be fined and even put in prison.

Completed training
14 days ago a group of new students arrived at the Academy to participate in the Close protection level 1+2 course. Some students came from Denmark or Scandinavia and some from other part of the world. They all came highly motivated and with very different background but had one thing in common – they were eager to learn.
It has been 14 days of intensive and hard training at the Academy in Denmark. The students have learned a lot in many different subjects related to the job as a close protection officer. Whether it is VIP driving, close combat, bomb search or planning a VIP visit, a close protection officer needs to possess a lot of knowledge and skills.
Congratulations to all students who completed the course – well done. You have so much deserved it.
Whats now? One of the students already had his first job interview for a position in Spain, other students meet up at the Academy again next month for further training. Beside the high quality close protection training we also offer the students the opportunity to further developing their skills. We have a lot of specialized courses within the security industry. This is very important if you want to have a career in the security industry.

2015 has turned out to be one of the busiests years so far. It is now official that we are opening new businesses in Singapore and France. In the beginning it will only be operations but in the near future we expect to setup SIRAS ACADEMY courses in the areas. Close Protections course April
With a fully booked CP course and a close combat course running at the same time the Academy was loaded with highly motivated students. The manager of operations and the CEO of Singapore security visited the Academy with a briefing about the future in SIRAS GROUP.
